VICTORY THE CREATOR is a Nigerian-American, multi-platform creative that utilizes the power of literature, writing, and community to create social commentary centering the Black gaze. Employing intersectional Black Feminist Theory, VICTORY explores the topics of Blackness, gender, masculinity, and intersectional Black feminism. The educational spaces he creates allow viewers to connect with the people in their daily lives with more care and understanding.

Vincent Black is the founder & creative director of Obsrv Agency LLC. and the current director of marketing & communications at The Patachou Foundation. He is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in graphic design, creative direction, and brand creation/development. Vincent is highly skilled in capturing the essence of a client’s brand identity and translating that message to a specific audience or customer. He is known for innovative designs which make lasting impressions and problem solving.

David Conner, known professionally as SIK-REEJECT, is an illustrator and writer from Gary, Indiana. He currently resides in Indianapolis. He recently graduated from Herron School of Art and Design.

SIK-REEJECT writes dark comedy and about lessons in self-love. He is the author and illustrator of the canvas webtoons “Rated Teen”, “Misery City”, and soon to come, “The Laugh-ocalypse!”

His work is inspired by Adult Swim, a programming block broadcast by Cartoon Network.

Yul Meade Butler (aka- yulshootz) is a photographer based in Indianapolis. He shoots portraiture of subjects with an insightful aesthetic.

Adrian is a New York based artist reigning from the Midwest. His creative inspiration draws from art, fashion, music and social issues. He specializes in camera operation, post-production and non-linear editing while producing business promotional content, short-form documentaries and music videos for social & multimedia platforms.

Ikenna Stovall is a Nigerian engineer turned creative with hopes of fighting for inclusion within the fashion industry through ways of media production and creative strategy. He aims to provide longevity for new and upcoming creatives.

Ikenna has been featured in Essence Magazine and Pattern Magazine for his influential style. He is big on fashion and beauty and has worked closely with Dr Martens, ASOS, Misbhv, SwearLondon, Koi Footwear, Beautycounter and more.

Lorea Turner is an actress, singer, and musician. She started taking music seriously at the age of 15 when she took her talents to the app Vine, where she gained over 100,000 followers in a short couple of months. Her first full cover was with friend Leroy Sanchez and they covered “Beauty and the Beast” which currently has 31 million views on YouTube. Later, Entertainment Weekly reviewed the song, and it was praised. She was also featured on Glamour Magazine where Demi Lovato reacted to Lorea’s cover of hers.

Lorea dropped her first single, “Secrets” in April of 2021.

She performed at H.E.R.’s Lights On Festival in September of 2021. She also sang at “Circle of Lights” in November and had a completely sold-out Christmas concert at the Indianapolis Arts Garden.

Towards the end of 2022, Lorea starred in Kirk Franklin’s “The Night Before Christmas” Lifetime original movie.

In the realm of visual storytelling, Tobechukwu Francis Nwosu, a Nigerian-American photographer and filmmaker, emerges as a maestro, seamlessly blending emotive narratives with vibrant colors. Born in Enugu State, Nigeria, and raised amidst the cultural tapestry of Indianapolis,Indiana Nwosu’s art is a celebration of his dual heritage, a dance between West African traditions and the dynamic landscapes of America.

MaliVai (Mal) Morgan is a visual artist born and raised in Indianapolis Indiana. He is the child of two community outreach activists who ingrained in him an understanding that he has been blessed with artistic vision. He believes it would be a disservice to not only the world but himself, not to share them. In 2015 he was a national champion in collegiate speech poetry. Mal has spoken publicly in several urban conferences on everything from bullying to recidivism. He is compelled to do everything he can to express his vision of the world around him through paint graffiti and poetry.

Imagist, Seed Lynn, submits deep listening as a liberation practice. Whether sensually, technically, or artfully applied, Lynn greets the lens as an altered state through which listening and witnessing make voice necessary. This state invades his work, frames subjects with honesty, and in turn, shapes spaces where stories find students. Lynn’s studies concern how we remember ourselves, who that memory honors, and how remembrance itself, in the face of oppression, is a cathartic act of love and protest.

Josiah Ray McCruiston is a creative director, a regional actor, teaching artist, and youth pastor/director who believes in the power of the creative spirit. His influence and creative works allow him to transform any space he enters with his infectious energy and spirit. He has performed across the nation, has worked in museum theatre (Indiana Historical Society, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, & Connor Prairie ), and has worked in arts education for over 10 years.

Justin Brown is a multidisciplinary artist and curator from Indianapolis, IN. He is the founder and director of Hoy Polloy art gallery, located at 3125 e. 10th street, Indianapolis, IN. Justin’s work is research based; ranging from public- private experiments, to government and corporate surveillance programs to archival photographs. Justin paints with data and paper.

His series “Intelligence Countered” highlights FBI surveillance files of persons of interest from the Rabble Rouser Index, Cointelpro, and modern intelligence operations. He collages casework and redacts the papers further with abstract painting techniques to draw the viewers’ eye to the text. Justin’s “Cubist Maps” series is centered around the historic development of neighborhoods, cities, and interstate infrastructures. He collages archive images of landmarks and residents in geometric “maps” to honor a regions history. Justin has installed permanent murals in Milktooth, Rabble Coffee, Beholder, the MLK Multi-service Center in Indianapolis, Fraser Colorado, and the Adams County board of Commissioners in Colorado. His work has been exhibited at Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art, Big Car’s Listen Hear, and Hoy Polloy.

Nese the Arteest is an Indianapolis-based painter, photographer, and YouTuber. She has been a visual artist her entire life. She began her art career drawing her favorite cartoons, but over time she transitioned to paining. Her paintings include a variety of different mediums, her favorite being acrylic and spray paint.
