Damon LeStat (born Jayden Baskin) is a spoken word artist and painter from Indianapolis. He refers to himself and his artistry as a “snot-nosed, ghetto Picasso”. As the phrase goes “a painting is worth a thousand words”, he came to the conclusion that any message he has will be better received with less lyrical conceptions and more visual representations. Now with a brush in hand, he paints the images he used to describe so people can truly understand him.
